Who would have thought that the writer would struggle more with getting posts done! As most of you know, I have returned to NDSU to extend my education. I figured 200+ credits just wasn't enough. I will admit, even if it makes me a nerd, I love it. I have really missed it. So far, yes, it has been torture with working full time, but I am hoping things settle down and get a bit easier. The whirlwind Jason and I have been part of the last week hasn't helped, but we have had an absolute blast.
Jason posted a bit while we were between travels, but he didn't do our Vegas trip justice. Oh, but wait, I can't either. After all, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. I did come home with a few tidbits though - I never want to see or hear the words French Toast Casserole again, if I ever have to fly next to a screaming two year old again, I'll consider parachuting, and finally, I don't recommend goat cheese. Really though, Vegas was awesome minus that and a few other mishaps. Jason, however, has suspended me of all spending for quite some time. No, I didn't go crazy gambling. I instead learned that concerts in Vegas are expensive.
The next stop on our US tour was Minneapolis. Part of me wonders if perhaps the flight home wasn't as bad as first thought once I went and got us good and lost in Cottage Grove. You'll be happy to know that Jason and I will NEVER live in the Twin Cities. Also, word of advice. DO NOT trust Google maps, especially during road construction season. We made though and spent the next day and a half helping my best friend Desiree have the wedding of her dreams. I hope I did ok as a jet lagged Matron of Honor! The ceremony was beautiful, as was the bride. The weather was near perfection too, minus the sprinkles of rain during the first dance, but hey, rain on the wedding day is good luck!
Sunday, we tried to recoup a bit but with WWE in the Target Center, you know where we were headed that evening. We enjoyed these monster desserts first at the Hard Rock Cafe and then were off to the show. There were two tapings, ECW and SmackDown, and I will admit, it was really good. While ECW aired Tuesday night, if you're interested, Smackdown is on at 7 tonight, channel 8 in Fargo, or the CW elsewhere. While Jason and I sat directly across from the cameras, we were a tish too high to be on TV the entire night, much to Jason's dismay. Maybe you'll catch a glimpse of us though! Never know!
